A public art opportunity existed within Dublin, California’s “St. Pat’s Row” community, – to create a unique manhole cover that reflected the energy and announced entry into a retail and entertainment zone. By incorporating the city’s shamrock symbols and pairing it with a modern typeface — our solution created street art versus street furniture. All previous concepts were presented and approved by the review board and City of Dublin prior to implementation.
