SKY has an immediate opening for a Graphic Designer with 3-5 years of experience specializing in Commercial/Corporate and should be flexible between graphic design, branded environmental graphics. Signage experience is a plus.

The opportunity exists for you to shape and grow a studio through a collaborative and strategic design process to deliver highly creative and well-detailed projects.

Responsibilities:

• Being a part of a project team while working through the coordination and delivery of project concepting, design, detailing, documentation and construction.

• Foster a culture of creative and strategic design thinking through mentoring.

• Engagement and coordination of engineers and other basic design consultants.

• Awareness of project schedules and tracking to design milestones.

• Attend project meetings and travel to and from project sites and client meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental Graphic Design and Brand Identity with a professional degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

• Ability to quickly communicate creative design strategies through excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate well in a studio environment and work independently to service individual client needs.

• Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.

• Willingness to engage in an integrated design process inclusive of Interior Design, Signage and Graphics and Landscape.

• Strong 2-D and 3-D development skills are a must.

• High passion for design, strong work ethic

• Has the ability to quickly generate multiple initial concepts and develop them into viable design solutions.

• Strong technical skills for design development through documentation as well as fabrication coordination experience.

• Exceptional design sense with the ability to integrate messaging, color, imagery, and typography into three-dimensional built environments.

• Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized.

• Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite and CADTools, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills required.

The designer will work as a key partner on fast paced interdisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, and graphic designers. The candidate will work closely with a Senior Design Lead in the studio.

• Ability to multitask while remaining efficient, poised, and organized

• Proficiency in the latest design software including Adobe Creative Suite skills and CAD Tools, 3D modeling programs (SketchUp, Rhino. etc.) Knowledge of Revit is a plus
