Avenir Place is a mixed-use retail center with high commuter traffic due to its immediate proximity to the Dunn Loring Metro station. We knew the property’s new ownership necessitated a brighter first impression through enhanced exterior paint schemes, consistent canopy strategies & updated lighting to evoke a sense of quiet luxury and have a cleaner more contemporary appearance to enhance the property’s competitiveness among local retail centers.

We worked closely with Asana Partners to develop a logo mark for avenir place that was then translated into fresh parking identification signage and approachable pedestrian wayfinding. For this project to be as efficient and economical as required, we were tasked with designing around the reuse of the previously installed pedestrian wayfinding signage.
