The reception area at Grosvenor Americas’ San Francisco office welcomes guests with a rich variety of high-end materials: pristine marble, lux carpet, smooth wood, and golden accents, but it’s the feature wall behind the front desk that most likely grab your attention. Color drenched with a rich blue shade, this wall is divided up in an unpredictable grid partner that adds drama and interest to the opulent setting. Grosvenor’s logo stands out in stark contrast to the wall color, a deep, warm gold, situated within the largest portion of the grid pattern. Nearby grid portions celebrate the company’s long history, featuring golden, sepia-toned color archival photos that complement the bronzed appearance of the logo and stand out in sharp contrast to the hue of the wall. This geometrical grid pattern is replicated in the breakroom more casually, paying homage to the future of the company: Grosvenor’s team members. Candid and posed group photos, still filtered through a nostalgic yellowed tint, fill in some of the grid, as lush green moss, succulents and other plants creep out of their designated enclosures, subtly signifying continued, thriving growth.
